3.9 Super Presets

A Super Preset is a pre-configured combination of a virtual instrument and effect chain. Each Super Preset presents a Unified Control Panel with a curated set of knobs and sliders (typically 5 to 8) mapped to the most impactful parameters of the underlying devices, giving you immediate control over the sound without configuring instruments or effects manually.

The full device chain behind the Super Preset is accessible at any time. Click the Gear Icon in the top-right corner of the Super Preset Panel to expand the underlying chain and adjust individual device parameters directly.

Note: You cannot add or remove devices within a Super Preset itself. Additional effects can be added after the Super Preset in the track's signal chain using the +Add Effect button.

Loading a Super Preset

A Super Preset can be loaded from two places in the Studio:

  • + Add New Track in the upper left corner of the Studio.

Click + Add New Track and select an instrument category. A new track is created with a default Super Preset from that category loaded and ready to play. Available categories are: Synth, Bass, Piano, Drums, Saxophone, and Guitar
  • + Super Preset button in the Device Panel sidebar
Click the + Super Preset button on the Device Panel at the bottom of the screen to open the Super Preset browser. The browser displays presets in a three-column layout: Column 1 selects the category, Column 2 selects the subcategory, Column 3 selects the individual preset. Click any preset name to load it instantly.

Note: Presets marked with a diamond icon contain instruments or effects from the paid tier and require a Premium or Premium + AI subscription to use.
