5.1 Equalizer

The Equalizer lets you adjust the volume of specific frequencies within your sound. The EQ features 8 fixed nodes (filter bands) resting on a large visual grid.

  • Filter Nodes (The Grid): Click any of the 8 dots on the line to select a frequency band.
  • Band Power Button: Located in the lower panel, this turns your currently selected node on or off.
  • Filter Type: A dropdown menu that changes the shape of the selected node (e.g., "Low Cut" to completely remove bass, or "Peaking" to boost a specific spot).
  • Freq: Selects the exact frequency area you want to adjust.
  • Q: Adjusts how wide or narrow the curve is. A high Q affects a very thin, precise slice of audio, while a low Q affects a broad range.
  • Gain: Increases or decreases the volume of your selected frequency.
  • Post Gain (Output): A master volume knob that adjusts the final level of the sound after your EQ changes are applied.

Device Panel View Note: Unlike other effects, the Equalizer’s simplified panel at the bottom of the screen does not contain adjustable knobs. Instead, it acts as a helpful display, showing a real-time visual line of your overall EQ curve shape.
