9.1 AI Assistant

The AI Assistant (Start Project with AI) is a generative tool that builds a foundational, multi-track musical arrangement for you. Rather than starting with a completely blank canvas, the AI Assistant generates a project starter containing a beat, a bassline, and melodic elements separated into individual audio tracks.

• Choose Genre: A set of buttons for selecting the musical style of the generated arrangement. Available genres include: Ambient, Afro Amapiano, Cinematic, Corporate, Drill, Drum‘n’Bass, Dubstep, Electronica, House, Lo-Fi Hip Hop, Techno, and Trap.
• Tempo: A slider to define the exact speed of the generated project, ranging from 60 BPM to 240 BPM.
• Length: A slider to set the duration of the generated audio, ranging from 10 to 240 seconds.
• Generate: Starts the arrangement generation. When complete, Amped Studio populates the Arrangement Timeline with audio tracks (drums, chords, leads, fx, and others) based on the selected genre and settings. These tracks behave like standard audio clips and can be muted, soloed, sliced, and edited.
