5.5 Chorus

Chorus is a delay modulation effect that makes a single instrument sound like multiple instances of the same instrument playing at once. It does this by creating very short delays of the audio, modulating them with an LFO, and mixing them back in.

  • Rate: Sets the speed of the wobbly, modulating effect.
  • Depth: Sets the amount of modulation added to the incoming audio signal.
  • Tone: A highpass filter applied specifically to the effected (wet) signal to adjust its brightness.
  • Mix: Sets the balance between the original sound and the effected sound.
